Tube removed, pregnancy not found

Hi there,

I had surgery last Friday for an ectopic pregnancy in my right tube (I had the left tube removed 5 months ago) and have just been told that no pregnancy was found. The tube was removed.

My hcg 2 days before surgery was 69. My hcg today, 1 week and 1 day post surgery was 2431. I’m having some cramping today.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Dear Ltc,

I am so sorry to hear of the confusing time you are going through.

Apologies but I am I able to give precise information. I presume you are still under the care of your medical team and I presume they will complete another scan to identify the location of your pregnancy.

We will be here for you as you navigate this journey.

Sending much love,

Karen x
