Hi I had an ep on Nov 18 and had right tube removed as ruptured. Due to the rupture and such a late diagnosis(!) my left tube was left badly swollen also with a small cyst under the swelling. I have just found out I am around 5 weeks pregnant and have early scan in a few days. I am so worried! Been having the odd sharp twinges just like before but now on the left side!
My hcg levels were 9000!! So hopefully okay??? Does anyone have a similar experience? Xx
Hi, I’ve had four ectopic and one miscarriage - all have been very different. If your HCGs are at 9000 and the hospital isn’t freaking out I’d say that’s a good sign. I’m 5 weeks +4 days and mild cramping has just started. I don’t know what to think! One of my EPs the HCGs had got to 4000 and they still couldn’t see it after six internal scans! The consultant did a scan and found it straight away (just next to my ovary). I went straight in to surgery. I think it’s a case of getting an expert to have a look and insist that this isn’t to be ignored. This is important, so keep turning up at A and E - it could save your life xxxx
