Hi pregnant now after ectopic last August had a scan last Friday where I would have been 5 weeks saw a gestational sac but with nothing in it which they said is to be expected with me only being that far on. I also got my hcg level checked which was 5000 Friday repeated today and it was 15000 so epac said it was a really good rise so now want to scan me again Friday! Are they more likely to see something in a week? I thought to see something you have to be around 7-8 weeks? X
Hello congratulations on your pregnancy. I had same situation as you scanned me at 5 weeks and they could sac and then a week later could see a heart beat. They told me that a heart beat can only be detected once you are 6 weeks and over. And yes massive changes happen in just that 1 week. It’s amazing. I was scanned a few times and the growth and development of baby is so quick in these few weeks. I now have a beautiful 9 month girl. Your blood results are great aswell. Hi Charlotte, I also had a scan at 5 weeks and could see a sac but not much else I had another one a week later and could see the babies heart beating!! Amazing how much they grow in such a short space of time!! I now have a very healthy and happy one year old little boy!!
