Well tomorrow is d day. I have my early scan, I’m dreading it but more so because I fear that one of my best friends is going through an ectopic. She’s being tested at the moment but I can see the fear in her eyes. Can anyone suggest what we might see, I should be 6 weeks and had good blood results last week. Thank you. Xxx
Hey Hun I totally understand your fears iv been in your shoes. I had an ectopic last aug got preg again in November. I was so scared about my first scan at 6 weeks but all was great I’m now 21 weeks with a girl. At my 6 week scan we saw a yolk sac and the start of a fetus pole but not a hb. Went back a week later and saw hb. They will offer you a repeat scan 1-2 weeks later to check if hb ect so if you don’t see one today please don’t panic it’s totally normal and your bloods are fine so alls great so far

Thanks for the reply, they could see a sac and that’s all. They weren’t really happy so have booked me in for another scan on the 30th. Xxx hopefully they will see something then. Xxx

Well now I’m 6 +1 was 6 weeks when scanned. Sac measuring at 5+6 so pretty much right just nothing else to be seen. My next scan is in the holidays so I don’t have to try and get out of work. Xxx I just find it so hard to be positive when we saw sac and yolk at 4+5 with my dad. Xxx sometimes knowledge isn’t the best thing. Xxx
