I was just curious as to if you got your bfp later with your ectopic than with a pg in the right place? I got my bfp with this pg at 12dpo but with my ectopic it wasn’t until after I thought I had a heavy period, something like 20 dpo or so. Of course I don’t know if this pg is normal or not, but I am curious if ya’ll noticed a difference in when you got your bfp’s?
I selected “earlier” - this pregnancy was positive at 12 DPO on the clear blue digital. My EP was positive on 18 DPO, but I didn’t test earlier than that then so I don’t know if it would have been positive earlier.
I got my BFP with my EP at 5 or 6 DPO and it was super dark, too. I got my BFP’s with my DDs about 9 or 10 DPO, and this time I got my BFP 14 DPO, but am still waiting to find out if this is a normal pg.
I haven’t had a bfp got to term, but my first ep bfp came 12 dpo with a really strong blue line and my HCGs doubled every 24 hrs - rather than my usual faint line and sluggish creep up
I got my BFP much earlier than with the EP. 2 days before AF was due. This time it was a strong, dark red line that shown up within about 5 seconds.
With the EP i tested the day that AF was due. It was hardly noticable. Did a test every 24hrs and the line never got any darker so i knew somrthing was wrong.
I choose earlier. With my ep, I didn’t know I was preg until I was 7 weeks(I thought I got my period at 4 weeks, but it was blood from my ep). With my preg in the right place, I got my bfp 14dpo.
Interesting poll - definitely got bfp earlier with DS. Tested the day af was due and got bfp. With ectopic got af or what I thought was af at expected time, it was only after this ‘wierd’ af that I tested and I got a very faint positive this was about 20/21 dpo versus 14 dpo with DS.
I didn’t vote because I wasn’t too sure how I should…I didn’t test for either pregnancy until a lot later than usual because with both I thought af was starting. With my ectopic I didn’t even test until I had cramping and the next day I was in surgery so I found out a lot later with my ectopic than my “normal” pregnancy but if I had tested earlier ???
with EP we weren’t ttc. On day 33 I did 2 tests which were very very feint. Same on day 34 - I just didn’t know if I was pregnant or not. On day 35 with FR test I got a proper positive. (I didn’t realise that this was a sign of a problem.)
with this pregnancy I got strong positive on day 24 again using FR which say you can use 4 days early.
It’s early days but beanie is in the right place so fingers crossed.
With both My EP I had a nose bleed in the middle of the night a week before my period was due, felt pregnant sore boob, food tasted strange, sence of smell had change. It was just the same with my normal pregnancy with I.V.F. No different.
