I desperately want to be pregnant again. I had found out i was pregnant start of nov 2017 then 2 weeks later i was told it was ectopic and i finally had surgery after 2 lots of methetrexate 4 weeks later. We have been trying for the last 3 months now and i am always let down when my period comes. Everyone i know is getting pregnant i just cant help feeling like what have i done wrong why am i not allowed to have my rainbow baby. My periods due in 6 days and my body temp is at 36.7c. Is there anything tht can boost my chances of having another baby?

I know exactly how your feeling and totally understand you. I’ve been ttc too, had ectopic 2016 and miscarriage 2017 not been in luck since though. I get really down every month too, when my period comes.
I’d like any tips too.
Everyone keeps saying we need relax but it’s soo difficult.
I believe it will happen when the time is right for us xx

this month I was 6 days late and I did pregnancy test 3 times and it was negative but for some reason I was still hoping I would be pregnant until my period came!!
I had a really faint pregnancy test few weeks ago but my period came and the test went negative. No luck whatsoever its so fusterating periods due in 2 weeks so hoping it doesnt come.

I was in a similiar position as you, I was 6 days late and did a test few times and thought I could see a faint line but then my period came
I’m hoping this month is my lucky month, I get really frustrated every month especially when my period is due it’s not easy to keep positive and carry on.

I feel your pain i feel the same every month. If it doesnt happen this month im going to go speak to the doctor see if i can get tests to check everything else is fine

Yes, I have already been referred to the fertility specialist, we have had our tests done and have appointment in a weeks time. I’m hoping we are in luck by then but yes think you should, as my appointment has taken a while to come, it’s a long waiting game!!
When did you have your ectopic? I thought id have to wait to see a specialist after a year of trying i found out i had my ectopic in novemver 2 lots of methetrexate then surgery in december when they took my right tube out. Ive been trying since febuary. I hope your results go well and you have your rainbow xxxx
I had my ectopic Oct 2016 with 2 shots and then miscarriage Oct 2017 and I asked for a referral then. I’m going to be 38 in Sept so worried about age…

No luck for me this month also, I think I’m going to start today, did a test yesterday and it was negative. So had a good cry last night
I’m ok today, we have an appointment on Monday with fertility specialists. I am slightly nervous as we get results for our tests.

Ive just been reffered for fertility tests, how long did you have to wait for your appointment? Is this your 1st app? X
No, this was my second appointment I had some bloods done. Was given a higher dose of folic acid and some other tablets which she told me to take once I conceive.
My letter for the HSG test came few days later and I will have to ring on the first day of my period to book my appointment for that.
Are you also having the HSG test done?
Im not sure doc referred me once he fpund put if he could or not so not sure what happens now xx
I got my date through now for my appointment hopefully find out some answers. How did u get on?

I had my HSG procedure on Wednesday, I found it painful but that only last few mins. Glad it’s over!! Don’t get result until my next appointment.

Was it still painful the next day? As ill have work the next day lol is that on your first appointment or is that another one? Also do you smoke or drink? Ive just stopped smoking i use a vapour have been for 4 months and my letter said you cant use that to get treatment so was wondering if they just book you in 3 months after you stop using the vapour?
No I don’t smoke or drink, I was actually fine by the evening. Just had period pains afterwards and some bleeding.
I had that done after few appointments.

Do they do lots of tests etc after your firat appointment? Ive got my first app at the end of the month and im a bit nervous
I only had some bloods done and the HSG procedure and my hubby had the semen analysis and that’s all really. I’m not sure if there any more tests they could do.
I was the same, nervous and worried…but the bottom line is something is being done and then once we know, we can handle our situations better with the support of professionals.
