Ttc but periods are totally out of sync

Hi all

Back in January I was told that my first pregnancy was ectopic. I’m 31 and my husband and I had been so excited to have our first baby after trying for a long time. My hcg levels were low so I was treated with methotrexate in February. I’ve now waited the 3 months and am in my second month of ttc. When we were trying last year I tracked my cycle so knew when I was going to ovulate but now nothing is consistent. My cycle can be anything from 40 days to 28 and I have not yet managed to track an ovulation date even though I have started testing daily. I just wanted to know of anyone else had had experienced something similar ttc because I sm starting to worry that my ectopic has effected my fertility. Thanks x

I was just about to post the same problem. I see that you posted this a long time ago so I hope this gets to you.

I had an eptopic pregnancy and had surgery Sept 2016 to remove my left tube because of rupture. It’s been 10 months now since and have been ttc the last 5 of those months and my period is totally not consistant. Some months I skip it all together! Last cycle was 69 days and this cycle I’m at day 44… it makes me believe that I will be impossible for me to conseive. :frowning:

But I like to hear that I’m not alone.

It’s been a while since you wrote this comment so have been able to become pregnant since?
