Starting again

Hello,

We had an ectopic pregnancy last February, and we started trying again as soon as we could after the waiting period but nothing has happened yet. We are going for a fertility test next weekend but I was wondering if anyone had any experience of IVF or other treatments post ectopic and realistically what to expect and any experiences anyone could share. We are a young couple and trying best and what comes we are positive no matter what but in our social group we are the only ones that have experienced this so it would be good to hear how others have gone through it. Thank you so much in advance, we know how hard this is.

Hello, I’m in a similar situation to yourself. It’s been a year since I had an EP and my tube removed, this was my first pregnancy. We’re TTC but have an added complication of my periods have not settled into a cycle post op. Sometimes they’re 9 weeks apart. It’s tough. I’ve recently started reflexology and meditation I’m already seeing the benefits of this as it’s helping me not panick or think too far in the future. I’m positive for our future with children but it’s taken me a year to get to this point. Stay positive I’m a true believer it will happen. xxx
