Hi All
I recently found out I was pregnant after an ectopic in January. I had a partial tube removal and really didn’t expect it to happen so soon but it has and we are overjoyed!! I had my bloods tested twice last week and they are looking good at a level of 3675. I am 5+1 today so they are happy with the levels. I have a scan booked in for Monday morning, I am excited but also
So nervous!! After all the stress of ttc I am now trying not to stress over the pregnancy! So hard though, I have good days where I am really positive and other days where I feel really negative. Hopefully will see something on scan on Monday.
Good luck to all of you ladies…xxx
Hi ginge0203
I’m wishing you good luck, and I hope everything goes good and I hope the baby is in the right place…
I’m also pregnant but trying so hard to stay positive but its not easy to stay positive when my pregnancy test was faint close to a week past my period which I’m guessing my hcg is probably low and I’m having the exact same symptoms as my last ectopic pregnancy just 4 months ago and my scan isn’t till Wednesday, as for right now I’m 5 weeks and 4days… but I think it’s great that your hcg level is good.
Hi Candice,
I am sorry to hear your worried you are experiencing another ectopic. Its very hard after experiencing one not to be afraid or nervous as believe me I am still afraid of a loss although my levels are looking good at this stage. Have you had your hcg levels tested? I saw my doctor on the day my period would have been due as i was experiencing pains in my stomach and tubes and she said although some aches and pains are normal the majority of them were probably due to worry! Weirdly enough when I got home I felt strangely ok and the pains had eased! I think her understanding and reassurance made me feel better. I have also suffered from diarrhea and constipation and both of these can be an early pregnancy symptom. I have IBS also which is triggered by stress so its possible this was bought on by my worry of the pregnancy. I pray for both you and I that all is well and please let us know here how you get on with your scan, I know its so hard not to worry and I am not going to say just relax and I know its almost impossible! But as much as you can just try to rest until you know for sure what is going on, much love,
Leanne xxx
Hi Ginge
Whispered congratulations to you and we are over the moon for you. I wish you well for today’s scan. x
Hi Candice - I am so sorry that you are worried. Please do not be alarmed by the faintness of your pregnancy test. Urinary pregnancy tests, although very helpful in showing whether you are pregnant or not, are not sophisticated enough to show the viability of a pregnancy. Please keep a watchful eye on how you are feeling and, if you find you are feeling unwell in yourself/your symptoms deteriorating, please get medical attention ASAP.
Sending you both good wishes
Munira

Hi Ginge0203,
Yes I had my hcg level tested 2 weeks ago, but they never called me to let me know if my hcg level was low or good, which kind of sucks, it would of been nice to at least know the level of my hcg but my scan is finally tomorrow and I’m very nervous. Tomorrow is the day that I either get good news or bad news. But I’m trying to prepare myself for incase I do get bad news but if it turns out good then I will be the happiest women on earth lol…
I’m so happy for you that your baby is in the right place this time, I hope that you continue to get good news all through our your pregnancy, and Congratulation on your pregnancy… -Candice
Hi Munira,
I will try not to worry too much about the faintness on the pregnancy test.
I’ve been trying to think positive as much as I can, also my cramping hasn’t been too bad for a couple of days so I’ve been feeling a little better with that. -Candice
