I know this will sound weird but I had my left tube removed in November and I’m now almost 5 weeks pregnant, however I have a real aching pain on the same side that I had the tube removed??? It’s not possible to have another one when the tube had been removed but I’m just really concious of this pain and I’m not sure what to do, I don’t want to call my gp as I don’t want to sound like a panicked idiot, any advice anyone??? Xxx
Hi,
First of all congrats! Try not to worry too much ( I know easier said…) Let your local EPU know they should scan you and tests your Bhcg at this point. Remember after an ep you have a greater chance for your next pregnancy to be intrauterine one. I had my right tube out 2 WEEKS ago and still bleeding on and off hope it all goes well for you. Let us know when you know something. Btw The pains you are experiencing are probably due to your scars stretching… Xxx K.
Cramping during early pregnancy is very common. It could be implantation pain which is good, or a number of other things. Congrats! I was worried when I had pain like that too but my current pregnancy is not ectopic. Just go get checked out to make sure it’s going ok.
I hope all is well… Hows it gone so far. Really interested to know how you are and hope your ok.
I had my right tube removed in Dec 14. First pregnancy and 3 weeks testing. Exactly a week after the Methotrexate shot, I ruptured and had emergency surgery which was week 8 after last period. Took the tube and a golf ball sized growth. They checked my left tube saying looked perfectly healthy. Now I’m happy they did what they needed to save my life, but its just made my ticking time bomb of a mind worry more. at 35 i really thought id have my 24 year old plans of 2 kiddies in place by now.
We started trying again in May. So far I’ve experienced twinges and niggles of pain almost every day since where my right ovary is and where tube should be and trying to just live with it but its a constant reminder. Well this week my boobs hurt constantly, going on 6 days and little tired. Of course its a week too early to try test. I worry its all in my mind, desperation kicking in, but also trying not to get my hopes up is hard. Spend many nights searching for success stories on pregnancy and and other links to the niggles and after surgery pains. Would love for more success stories and Similar post surgery issues. Ta Shell
