Hi ladies 
I had an ectopic pregnancy last November and had my left tube removed. We’ve just found out that we’re pregnant again, which of course, is fraught with an array of different feelings… Definitely having trouble navigating the fear and pessimism.
One issue these first few days that has been worrisome is occasional VERY light cramping twinge on just the left side (the side where I had my tube removed). I thought it might be implantation cramping, but I think I’m too far beyond that for it to be the case (probably almost 5 weeks). Has anyone else experienced this?

A whispered congratulations on your pregnancy. It’s very natural to feel anxious in pregnancies following our ectopic experiences, especially when we are having sensations within our body. These twinges and cramping can be normal. In these early days, as best as you can, please be kind to yourself and take time to relax. If you haven’t already, you can request an early scan from your EPU, from six weeks, which can help to provide some reassurance. No matter what, we are here for you anytime and for as long as you need.
