hi all ,mine started 10 august 2004 i lost my baby and left tube ,found out i was preg on the 17 oct 2004 ,i had loads of scan as i bleed .i was told i had a low laying placenta .when i reached 23 weeks i bleed loads like some one turned a tap on ,got rush into hospital and was told it was a grade 4 placenta previa and was only given 50% of me and macy making it and i would have to stay in hosp until i had her .at 26 weeks 4 days i bleed bad again and they couldnt find her heart beat ,i was rushed to the op thertre .they got macy out in seconds me they worked to save me for 5 hours ,they told matt i only had 40% of making it as they coulnt stop the bleeding .7 pints of blood and 4 pints of plasmer ,i woke up to matt showing me a pic of my little macy .
macy dinks weighed 1 lb and 15 oz ,13 weeks and 4 days in the inte newborn unit .she had a pda closer (duct closed in her heart )came home on oxygen but is off now . been to great orlmond street hosp to have a op on her throat (her left voical cord doesnt work)
macy is perfoundly deaf and wears the coolest hearing aids hot pink with glittery moulds ,we are learning sign .
she has bad apneas every now and then,bad reflux which can corse apneas and make her stridel worse ,on loads of med for this .
macy can sit up and has just stared to roll over (about 4 times now )
she is 14 months old now and im so proud of her ,she is my miracle
and will be my bride maid in nov this year.
