Its been a LONG time since ive been on here, thought i’d best update!!
Well, 3 years ago Feb gone I was 26 & I had an Ectopic Pregnancy resulting in my losing my Right tube. Unfortunately I was mis-diagnosed many times, whilst in hospital!!! And I ended up remaining in hospital for a little over 3 days until my Mum complained and we finally got to see a specialist. I was wisked to theatre and operated on. I’d lost 5 pints of blood and very nearly my life!!
Shock is not the word!! I spent 6 months getting better and 2 years coming to terms with it.
ofcourse I believed getting pregnant again was out of the question and this ruined my life.
Thats is until July 07 when I found out I was pregnant again!! Well, I thought, it’s gonna be Ectopic. Early scan showed that was not the case. My baby grew and grew and on 13th Feb 08 Finley Sean was born.
He is the most amazing little boy, he is good as gold. He sleeps through the nite. Hes always happy. Hes my little miracle.
Everyone told me “I would be fine”, but I didnt believe a sole until he was in my arms and healthy.
I hope my story can help others to have hope.
Incidently, im taking my hospital to court for negligence, it’s been going on for 3 years but fingers crossed it will come to an end soon with a settlement out of court. I have to know they will not do this again to someone else, hopefully THEY will learn from THEIR mistakes with me.
I would like to finally add that I will never forget my little angel that we lost on 2/2/05 and we will make sure your little brother will never forget you too. We Love you more than words can say and you are ALWAYS in our thoughts, I know your Great Nan is looking after you, wherever you are xxx
