Had a miscarriage in november 2018 .I had to go back for several scans as they noticed that it was still some tissue left .The last scan I had was on the 2O/12/2018 and been told that everything is back to normal and started my period .
On the 17/01/2019 I had a positive pregnancy test .i was very happy but anxious on the same time and repeted the pregnancy test several time and was still positiv . But in a about a week time I started having some pink than brownish spotting ,no pain .
Than duscharge stopped and I was thinking I will be fine ,repeated the test and still positive .
On the begining of February I started having brownish discharge again ,sholder /back pain and discomfort on my right lower abdominal /groin area .Phoned the EPU and they have seen me for a scan next day .Been told that I have an ectopic pregnancy on my left tube and I was transfered to the main hospital with the ambulance .
In the hospital they told me that I should have laparoscopy and have my left tube removed .
I refused the intervention and asked for another scan ,the sonografer wasnt sure about the ectopic pregancy .My HCG at this time was 2400 .
The doctor said I can wait and have bloods repeated in 48 hours ,but kept me in hospital in case my tube would rupture .
In 2 days time my HCg dropped to 450 had another scan ,confirmed the ectopic p but said it is falling and will absorb itself and dont need any further interventions .
After the scan I started bleeding ,brown and than it turned into bright red with some small clots ,maybe bit geavier than my usual periods .
Now second day after scan still bleeding and have slight back pain and cramping .
I am sorry for what you have been through. I Did have an ectopic pregnancy myself that we just waited for the HCG to drop, so expectant management. Very traumatic experience. I am at a point that I want to investigate more why this has happened and I am thinking of suggesting to the consultant for a lap or hysteroscopy to see inside what’s going on. I am sorry I cannot help more but I would like you to know that you are not alone x
My HCG levels dropped at 4 at about 2.5 weeks. When they dropped below 5 they told me that the pregnancy has been resolved. After a week I had my period which was quite painful mostly from the right side, where the doctors said I had the ectopic and to be honest, I still have pains there. I have an appt with the doctor in March and I will ask about the investigations. I have already had an HSG which was clear, so I have no idea how the ectopic happened. That is why I am thinking about a lap.I will keep you updated. Let’s hope our next time will be the lucky one, as I don’t have any children and this makes it even harder for me. Sending big hugs

I don’t have any childrens neither .
I got pregnant easily and don’t understand why this happened . The doctors told me that I was just very unlucky of having an ectopic after I miscarried in november and the posibily of having a normal pregnancy next time is high .
But I dont dare trying again untill I have some further tests .
