Hello had a ectopic nearly 4 weeks ago… Had my right tube removed. Been to a follow up appointment today and apparently the tube was not normal very inflamed de formed . The pregnancy wasn’t in tube so must of miscarried it. The doctor said we can start ttc when ever we are ready. Would love to start again. Has anyone one else had similar and fallen pregnant xx

sorry to hear about your loss, but glad you have found this site. its a great place to find support and information.
TTC again after ectopic is a very personal and individual thing, it’s good that your doctor has given you the all clear physically, but I would also make sure you are ready emotionally. if you have given yourself time to grieve and your body time to heal and it feels right, then go for it.
For me, I took a bit longer and allowed myself the time to adjust before ttc again, it had been a long process to begin with for us, and then suffering from a mmc and then ectopic pregnancy in close succession was a lot to deal with. we had actually brought our wedding forward in a bid to have something to focus on, and low and behold the distraction meant that we conceived without actually trying, but the emotions of a new pregnancy were hard to deal with and the sense of fear and loss were all to real even 6/7 months later. so it doesn’t really get too much easier as time passes, but I was stronger and in a better place so we faced it head on.

It is really hard next week was suppose to be my first scan… Completely gutted 
trying to get back to normal. My other half said he’s worried it could happen again, but who knows . Think we will just go with the flow. Was you offered a early scan?? Xx
