Found out again am pregnant with ectopic pregnancy

I have had an ectopic pregnancy this feb and had undergone surgery to remove the tube on left side … they advised to try after 2 cycles … we waited for 4 months and again thought of giving a try … just found out that aim pregnant again and went for a early scan and again ectopic pregnancy in right tube but only 600 hcg so advised to wait for 2 days and see if levels go down … just waiting :frowning:

No body advised to take any medication or any check’s before trying for a baby again … i myself called GP and bugged them to do any sort of tests that could help me to plan fir baby… but that of no help

My concern is I don’t have any idea about ectopic pregnancy before it came out as a shock when i had severe pain and landed at A&E … why don’t any one make people aware of this or no help from doctors on how to take any precautions.

Just a small help from some one who is reading this : does anyone had similarly situation and got pregnant naturally and had a happy ending :?:

Dear NaniM,

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy losses. To experience one loss is difficult, dealing with multiple losses is heartbreaking and my heart truly goes out to you.

As we are a UK charity, we can only comment on usual treatment in the UK. Here, women and people aren’t routinely screened or have any follow up investigations or scan following ectopic pregnancy. Sadly there is little as can do to prevent it from happening. If you have any specific questions relating to your ectopic pregnancy or future fertility, I would certainly ask the medical team looking after you.

We will be by your side at this difficult time, please feel free to lean on us for as long as you need,

Sending much love,

Karen x
