Just to update you I had my scan at the EPU today decided to go straight there this morning rather than go to GP.
Outcome intrauterine pregnancy !!! gestational size 8mm x 4mm x 7mm yolk sac present.
No heart beat yet trying not to fret about that as I know it’s early stages. Going back next Thursday 22nd for a second scan . So nerve racking and relieved it’s not another ectopic

Congratulations. Another hurdle over 
I am in a similar situation. First scan was last week at 5+4. They could only see a gestational sac and yolk sac no fetal pole or heart beat. I have a repeat scan on the 23rd May when I will be 7+6.

How did your scan go?
I had mine today. Bub measured 8weeks (I am 7weeks6days going from O date and from my scan at 5+4) healthy little heart beating away at 170bpm. I am still nervous but if I get to my 12week scan and all is going well I think I will finally breath a sign of relief. Unfortunately the cysts I have are growing so looks like I will need surgery between 12 and 14weeks to remove them 
So pleased about Bub Olivia and gutted for you regarding the cysts. I have everything crossed they will self-resolve but am sure you will be well looked after if not. Any questions or queries on that please don’t hesitate to ask us as we are there for you if you need us.

sorry to hear about cysts but great news re pregnancy!! How exciting!!! I had my scan Thursday they measured me as 6 weeks and 4 days strong little heart beat I will also breath a big sigh of relief at the 12 week point . Hope your feeling well in yourself xx

How are things going Daffodils?
I just had my 12week scan yesterday. All looks well. I see my Ob again on Wednesday about the cysts. I saw him 2 weeks ago and he said they need removing but yesterday 2 of the smaller cysts have reduced in size significantly. The largest is unchanged.
Congratulation Olivia that’s great news about the scan and the shrinking of the cysts. I hope your appointment goes well on Wednesday.
I haven’t had my booking scan yet I’m 11 weeks tomorrow and my scan is booked for 7th July can’t wait!!
I’ve got my first midwife appointment on Tuesday . It’s been a very long 11 weeks my scan feels like a long time away hopefully it will fly by. The nausea has subsided to just when I’m hungry now which is a relief

I’ve not been on here for a while, but just thought I’d say a quick hello. Olivia and Daffodils I’m pleased to hear things are progressing well for you.
I had my 12 week scan last week, it was the most incredible experience! I was blubbing so much at seeing my baby that the sonographer had to tell me to calm down so he could do the measurements! Turns out I’m a week further on, so now 14 weeks. Due on Boxing Day, great timing! I hope others have an equally magical experience and it puts your mind at rest that everything is ok.
I had almost constant nausea for the third month, but it’s gone now thank goodness. I just have severe hayfever in its place. Am seeing doc next week and going to beg him to give me something for it because I’ve not been allowed anything till now.
Has anyone else told work? I told them this week, which was a massive relief. When are you thinking of working until? I think will stop 4 weeks before due date, I have some leave to use up anyway and I figure by then I really won’t feel like commuting, but it’s so hard to tell at this early stage.
I remember reading this thread when I was TTC after my EP last Sept - it gave me a lot of hope and I hope I can do the same for others. Don’t give up, you will get there!

My ectopic story has a lot of similarities to yours, 1st pregnancy, conceived very quickly after coming off pill etc.
I really hope i have a happy ending like yours!
