Just to reassure you Mary,
This topic has been well researched and whilst mothers, daughters, sisters, and grandmothers all suffer ectopic pregnancies, they do so no more often than unrelated by blood females do.
The incidence is around the same so statistically, it will occur among related females but there is no familial link
thx for the information!
i was a bit worried, since the pharmacist i know
had one
and her daughter went through the exact same turmoil, only with a faster diagnosis-
it s reassurin to know that it doesn t make a difference however-
i ll let my sister know
love
Mary
My sis is also a bit concerned she would have similar problems but she hasn’t ttc yet (not married, still enjoying single life) and is not sure she wants to have a child (regardless of my ep, she’s never been really sure).

My cousin had a ep with twins & my male cousins wife had a ep too.

No but my father had a friend who died from one.
Not that I am aware of. No one has ever said anything to me about it.
hi peeps!
i had a 2 good friend who had same problems with EP but they had children after that
Yes, the same as me, my mother’s first pregnancy was an Ectopic (she was only 22). She then lost 4 other babies before she had me.
No one in my of dp’s family have had an ep

my Mum had two ectopic pregnancies. My Mum is no longer with us, but I knew she has had them.
that is why i have recognised my symptoms
I found out after mine that my mums sister had one, and was her first pregnancy. I dont know anyone else who has been through one, but she had 3 healthy babies after the EP.
i have to say what is strange is that the research shows no familial relation in EP’s, we must be a rare exception, i have had two EP’s one in each side, my mum had two EP’s one in each side and my cousin(mums sister’s daughter) had one EP.
Strange… but true.
