First EP Feb 2007, chemical pg October 2007 and just diagnosed with my second EP after my 2nd IVF attempt.

Yep - 1st Oct 07 in left tube, 2nd Sep 08 right tube. Never given option for MTX - both tubes removed.

Currently waiting to start IVF. Fingers xed I don’t get any more.

I live in America, so my treatment may be different than someone else may receive elsewhere. After a year of trying to have children, I had my first ectopic pregnancy last August. It was a right-side ovarian pregnancy. It was treated with a single dose of methotrexate. I got pregnant again in January, and this time I had a left-side ovarian pregnancy. It was also treated with a single dose of methotrexate. I was very blessed the methotrexate worked because my HCG level was so high that normally surgery would be required. I should have my final blood test tomorrow to confirm my second ectopic pregnancy has indeed ended. I’m just worried about my future fertility.
