So I’ve got my bFP exactly 9 weeks after ectopic surgery. Needless to say I’m very exited but also very very scared.im so scared it may be another ectopic, I had my right tube removed but the Drs said that my left tube looked fine. Do I go to see the Dr next week? When will the epu do a scan do you think? I feel like I can’t let myself get my hopes up and am fearing all of the worst scenarios

Hi I’m exactly same as you had my left tube removed 1st of Jan and got a positive test yesterday I’m so nervous! They told me my right tube was very healthy and had no reason to not try straight away i can’t belive it has happened this quickly did they say they will scan you early to check for ectopic?
Omg! Congratulations!!! I had my surgery 2nd jan and certainly didn’t expect it to happen first time of trying! They did say at time of op that if I was to get pregnant again to get an early scan, am assuming I’ll have to go the the Drs to get refered as they don’t do self referrals at North staffs.

By my workings out I’m 4 weeks + 1 day. With the ectopic I started to bleed at 4 weeks + 6 (christmas day) not that much pain tbh until the following Thursday which only lasted for two spats of 30 mins. But had a dull ache in the lower right side for 5 days …didn’t realy think much of it at the time it was just the bleeding that alerted me.how far gone are you now and what were your ectopic symptoms? Xx
I was bleeding on and off all month in December with no pain my doctor sent me epu for a scan they refused to scan me telling me I was Ok and still pregnant and then the next day I had really bad pain couldn’t walk nearly passed out they finally agreed to do a scan and told me my tube had burst so got rushed to surgery the doctor at the hospital was horrible he didn’t even believe I was pregnant I feel like his pregnancy is different but I don’t want to get my hopes up I’m so scared of a ectopic again specially at the thought of loosing my last tube xx
Aw congrats girls! Ok so iv been in your positions after my ect last august, I’m now 20 weeks. Firstly make doc appointment so they can book you in epu for scan. This will be done about 5 weeks preg then again at 7 weeks. It’s scary after what wev been through but pls try not to worry. You will probably feel a few twinges here and there and aches etc but remember your body’s have been through a lot! Best of luck keep your chin up xx
Thanks charl…good to have some reassuring news from someone else on the same boat. Hope your pregnancy is going smoothly and your half way there to meeting little one…wow! I’m going to make a Drs app on mon and hope they send me for a scan ASAP. I’m getting a lot of twinges…not painful ones…I had them with my little boy two years ago so I’m hoping this is a good sign, getting abit of belly ache but also little random pains/spasms on left and right side so I’m trying not to think of every little thing(very hard to do)! Congrats girls! So happy for you!! My ectopic surgery was 12/23 and I also lost my right tube… My doc said wait one normal period to try, but I’ve had two, since I’m pretty certain the right ovary was the one that ovulated last month (I can feel it when I ovulate, sharp shooting pain) I don’t think we had a great chance… This month I felt it from the left side, far more EWCM than last month, and we BD every single day of my fertile window, so FINGERS CROSSED that we’re blessed and lucky! If not, we’ll keep trying! Your BFP’s make me hopeful and make my heart smile for you! I know all too well how scary it is wondering if that one tube that’s left is going to do it’s job!!
