Hi everyone, not sure if anyone is around from 2011 but this group was a great help to me back then. I found out that I am pregnant on Monday. It was a late positive by about 3 days. Doctor has taken 2 lots of blood but the first seemed a bit low at 886 ( 4 weeks 5 days) and had more taken today. Got my scan booked for Thursday but I am scared to death that things will go wrong again, despite having a beautiful little girl in 2012. Anyone think my levels are low too? Tia. Xxx

Congratulations. I don’t think it’s too low. I had an ectopic in June 14. In November 14 found out I was pregnant again and my HCG at 4 weeks 5 days were 700 and I am now 18 weeks pregnant xx

How’s it going? I’m in same boat as won’t get scanned till 22nd, no pain or blood but my ruptured ectopuc surgery was so so serious I can’t help but be scared. And have no parents anymore to get a hug off! Be strong and good luck x
Hi ladies, my blighted ovum was confirmed on Thursday and I opted for a d &e which was done on Friday.
I decided to take the 5 self certification days off and due back at work tomorrow. To be honest I am ready for going back and recovery was really quick.

I was told that one hcg count isn’t enough to go by and everyone produces different levels of hcg. I think it’s the doubling factor that’s more accurate

Hi mc, I’m doing well thank you. I had a blighted ovum and had surgery but recovery wasn’t painful and I was back to work within a week. Still waiting for af to show although hubby and I have been having fun, so I guess I could get caught like my friend if I’m lucky. Xxx
