This is the first time that I have posted in these forums but they have been a great help to me over the past fews months.
I was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy in December, we had been trying for some time to conceive so were devestated 
the doctor advised surgery and tthe removal of my left tube which was lucky as they found I was probably 24/48 hours away from rupturing. It’s been a really tough few months, and my emotions have been up and down like a yo-yo but I thank everyone who posts in these forums as just reading through them helped me during some of my tougher times 
Anyway…the reason I am posting apart from the above is I have just found out (yesterday) that I am pregnant again and i’m scared, really scared! I am trying so hard to be positive, both for myself and my husband but every twinge (of which I am having a lot) is making me worry, I have pain in my right side (which is where my remaining tube is) and I dont know what is normal.
Can anyone share any words of wisdom or advice?

Hey Hun, I too had ectopic last aug got preg again in October. I had extreme cramping and twinges in my remaining tube I went hospital at 5 weeks for scan all in right place apparently the twinges were a pregnancy cyst which is where the released egg came from and is totally normal. Our bodies are still sensitive from the operation hence why we feel every single twinge. Give the epu a ring and book a scan they gave to scan you at about 5 weeks to check it’s in right place. Everything you are feeling is totally normal Hun. I’m now 20 weeks with a healthy girl please try to relax x

Thanks so much for messaging back - you’ve made me feel a lot better already it’s much easier to talk (or message) with someone who understands what you have been through and are going through. I have booked an appt with my doctor for this week so they can refer me back to the EPU who were so good to me last time!

I’m currently 6 pregnant after ep in September
I felt like I was freaking out most of the first week after finding out!!! But feel much calmer now. I’m booked for a scan on Monday
