Oh lovely isn’t it such a rubbish time!! I had an ectopic pregnancy last October which was treated with methotrexate!! I’ve logged back on here now for some reassurance as I’m now 4+2 and ABSOLUTELY PETRIFIED!! I’ve called my local hospital and am booked in for a scan on the 17th August when I should be exactly 6 weeks.
There is a lady from the post above who had a previous ectopic in December treated with methotrexate and she’s just written to say she’s had a scan at 6+3 baby is in the correct place and she saw the little heartbeat. So honestly try not to worry, I know how hard it is. Thinking of you and praying your feeling better soon. xxx
Dear Katy89,
Whispered congratulations on your pregnancy,
After an ectopic pregnancy, finding we are pregnant again can be a mix of emotions and I can completely understand your feeling nervous. It is perfectly normal to feel scared after the ordeal you have endured. I also felt twinges and aches after my ectopic pregnancy, particularly when I next felt pregnant. My mind started racing and I was only really able to relax to some degree after my early scan. It is a nerve-wracking time and you have friends here who understands how you are feeling.
Sending much love and positive thoughts,
Karen x

I am 5W2D today. I found out at 3w4d & am thankful for everyday that I make it. I had my last ectopic in December. I was treated with two rounds of MTX. I am so scared now. I have been having blood draws every 2-3 days & my numbers are rising but not quite doubling. Doc is reassuring. I have a scan on Thursday. Going for more blood work here in a minute.
I hope we have our rainbow babies. It has been a serious roller-coaster.
