Haven’t posted for a while. I’ve had 3 ectopics now resulting in the loss of my right tube in Jan 2015. Luckily everything settled down quickly and I’ve always had regular periods since then. I am now 8 days late but the pregnancy tests are negative! I’m freaking out a bit as I feel pregnant and recognise many of the signs from having my daughter. People keep telling me to just test again in a few days but the wait is agony. 8 days waiting has been bad enough. I’m really worrying that If im pregnant it’s another ectopic and that’s why the tests aren’t picking it up because of low HCG.
Help!!!
Hi Lou, I’m in the same position. Lost left tube last December and have had 3 normal cycle since, now first month trying ttc and I’m on day 40 of my cycle (9 days late). Several negative tests (it’s costing me a fortune) and I feel nauseous and generally a bit pregnant. Made a phone appt for GP for next Monday but hope either af or pos test happens before then cos it’s really stressful. Let me know how you get on. X
It’s awful having to wait as I’ve never ever been late before I’m like clockwork even after going through all this I’ve always gone straight back to normal again. I think I ovulated later this month as I definitely recognised the signs but even ovulating later I should have still seen something by now. I’ve got to take my daughter to the doctor tomorrow so may quickly ask their advice. I’d be prepared to wait if I had never been through this before but with my last ectopic I tested negative in hospital and that was the one that ruptured my tube so very anxious
Freaking out a bit now as have bad pelvic pain which kept me awake last and feel rubbish. EGU won’t see me as negative pregnant test but have GP appointment for this evening. Hope you get some advice today.
Oooh mrsk2015 let me know how u get on! U must be feeling so freaked by now. I did get some lovely advice from a nurse who suggested I book in with a doctor who had an ultra sound machine at our surgery! But alas I have come home and think AF is on her way as I’ve just had spotting.
If I ovulated a week later like I thought me coming on now would be about right!! Not sure what made me ovulate a week late tho, I did have an awful sickness but last month where I lost half a stone so wonder wether that set me back a week or something!!

Lou I think I’ve read before that illness does sometimes delay things - it’s so stressful though isn’t it.
I am in TWW now and have been having some twinges although I’m sure all in my head. Only 6DPO so nothing can be seen yet.

Got to go back for blood test tomorrow. He couldn’t really explain what’s going on or why I have pain so I guess I’ll see what blood test shows. Just want AF to arrive now so at least we can start again.
Wow how confusing hopefully the bloods will put ur mind at ease one way or another. Well AF showed up with a vengeance this morning which would make me a total of 10 days late. I guess all my theories about never being late and have a regular cycle should go out of the window!! If I had really paid attention to my body I know i ovulated late this month so it does all add up. Just so cruel as I felt pregnant and so so tired etc and have no idea why I would have felt like that otherwise. Will have to wait and see if things settle down again next month now. I will def be keeping an eye on when I ovulate now rather than a calander.

So…got bfp this morning! Did test after being up all night in pain and so self referred to EGU. Have had scan which shows a sac in uterus but no yolk sac yet. No concerns about ectopic, phew! Apparently it could be too early, I must have ovulated late last cycle. Had hcg done and need to go back on Saturday to check it’s rising normally then if it is have another scan in 2 weeks. Trying not to get too excited but keeping everything crossed!
Wow so exciting MrsK - whispered congratulations to you!!! Great news definitely not EP and in the right place.
I cracked and did a test yesterday which was a BFN - not surprising really seeing as I only ovulated 7 days ago… it’s just so hard to wait! To be honest I am not expecting to see those magical 2 lines this month but just wish my cycles weren’t so long so I didn’t have to wait to start trying again!

Hcg results are back, they were 113 on Thurs and 365 today which I thought was a good rise but they’re concerned that they’re low so have to go back for more on Monday. I thought as long as they at least doubled every 48 hours it was good news. Hmm it’s not easy to stay relaxed at the moment. Hope everyone else is OK?

I’ve done another test and had another BFN today. Am getting cramps and becoming moody so sure this is AF coming to get me

Levels are now 817 so they’re happy with my progress and I’m booked for another scan next Thursday. Doing my best to feel positive about it now and actually starting to get a bit excited. How is everyone else?
So saw our little bean today with a good strong heartbeat. As suspected my dates are completely out and i must have ovulated 10-12 days later than usual so am 6 weeks rather than nearly 8. Keeping everything crossed for a smooth ride. How is everyone?x
