I was trying to read as much as possible information here by, but, in my case, it’s a little bit different.
Last year, in 2018,i have one miscarriage (around 6-7 weeks) and again, last year, September 2018,at week 6,am ectopic pregnancy, i am 27 year old, and today, is my 8th day with my missed period,i had like 4 test, all negative. I am gaining weight, get super even talking too much, fatigue, and hungry like never been before. This is not me, i totally understand, that it can be just missed or delayed in my periods, but i have never been this late, with negative results, plus, even if i am not pregnant, what happened to my period, after ectopic pregnancy (oh and yes, my right tube got removed as well, as it was 6 week and the right tube was fully ruptured with so much internal bleeding as well) I had normal cycles of my period.
I can’t focus on anything, trying my best, and hoping for the best, this 2019, me and hubby wanted to be our year, we just feel specially he does, but there is this one fear sitting inside, and please do let me know your advice?
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and losses,
Periods can be delayed for a number of reasons including stress or even (as surprising as it may sound) excessive exercise or weight loss. Doctors normally consider menstrual cycles of between 23-42 days to be within normal parameters. If you have not had your expected period, we would advise retesting, using an early morning urine sample in a further week.
As you have been TTC, while I do not want to alarm you, if you experience any pain or unusual bleeding, please do get medical attention as soon as you can. If it has been more than 42 days since the first day of your last menstrual period, please talk to your GP who maybe able to assist you further.
Sending much love and positive thoughts,
Karen x
