Had an early scan at 5+4 they saw everything they should but no heartbeat- just wondering if anyone else has had this experience and whether the outcome was good?
I have got sore boobs sometimes and feel a bit sick sometimes, but don’t know if I’m
Imagining it all lol, such a scary time.
I’ve read lots of info and most would suggest it’s to early to hear a heartbeat but I just wanted to know what everyone’s experiences were

That does sound pretty early for a heartbeat. I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks +6, and they were able to see the heartbeat that time.
I agree that it’s a little early for a heartbeat. The first time I heard the heartbeat was at 6 weeks, 5 days, but I think the timing can vary. When do you go back in for another scan?

I go back a week Monday so by then I’ll be 7+5 so maybe I shouldn’t worry till then. They did say it was probably too small to see a heartbeat but i just can’t help worrying- at least it’s in the right place this time whatever happens xx
It’s hard not to worry! But it seems completely reasonable that they didn’t see it yet, but will the next time! Fingers crossed for you!

I think I always took it for granted that is be able to have a baby, but then when horrible things happen you realise how much can go wrong!
I work in social care which makes it worse because it just feels like a massive injustice! I see people all the time that don’t want their children or treat them terribly yet they are so easily able to have a few more. Then there’s lovely people

Just in case anyone else is in the same boat one day, had another scan today at 7+5 and saw the heartbeat, so so happy
