When did you first feel your baby move/kick

Afternoon all, just thought I would ask when you first felt your baby move/kick. I am 17w+5 and have been feeling something in my lower stomach for a few days now but not sure if it is movement or just my uterus stretching?

Hello WEndy,

I felt my daughter move just before 18 weeks. I think it is normally a bit later in your first pregnancy, so I was probably classed as early.

I can only describe it as a butterflies wings fluttering inside.

I picked 16-17 weeks, but at the time, I didn’t know that I was the baby I felt, I thought it was just gas. Then I went to the doctor and they were listening for the heartbeat and I felt what I thought was gas and the doc said that it was the baby kicking!But I think the first time I felt and actual "kick was closer to 19/20 weeks.
