Just getting over an erupted ectopic pregnancy where they removed my tube (2 weeks ago)
Stitches in my belly button became infected and was given antibiotics. However they smell real bad? What can I use to clean them please? Thanks

Dear Lea1983,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,
Sadly I am not medically trained, but I would advise speaking to your GP or practice nurse as they may have advised to keep the area as dry as possible. If it is still quite smelly, I would advise getting it reviewed as this may mean that there continues to be some infection present.
Sending much love,
Karen x

Go back to the doctors. I also had a belly button infection after surgery! The doctor told me to buy a wound spray, I got it from Body Care. I can’t remember what it was called but it worked. I wouldn’t use it though until you get confirmation from your doctor first! I hope it heals fast xLea1983:
