I was just wondering out of interest how many boys and girls we are expecting. Loads of peps seem to be expecting boys and I just wanted to see if the girls had caught up.
I know what you mean, it did seem that there was a whole bunch of boys only for a while, but now it seems like there’s a bunch of baby girls coming too!
I am not going to find out the sex of my baby. I want it to be a surprise so does DH. I think I am having a boy but I guess I have to wait and see…can’t wait!! I have my anomoly scan on Tuesday and I will be watching every move.
Didn’t find out at our scan in August. At first, I had very strong feelings baby was a girl but as time has gone on I am thinking boy. EVERYONE, and I mean everyone (including strangers in the street!) keeps telling me I “look like” I am carrying a boy.
Either way, I will be finding out very soon as I am already at term
We didn’t wanna find out what we’re having either - You don’t get many nice surprises in life so I’m gonna wait and see! Didn’t find out with our other 2 children either - We’ve got a girl and a boy so I guess there’s no other ‘variation’ is there??!!
Hello. Well im having a girl…my instincts were telling me from the begiining that its a girl but wasnt sure until we saw the second scan a 5 months. Most people are telling me that they think its a girl but then again a few are saying Boy guess its because bump is a abit point and not spreading on the side.Im very excited
When we first found out we were expecting I really wanted to find out the baby’s sex, and kind of hoped it would be a little girl.
After my 12 week scan I decided I agreed with my other half and that we wouldn’t find out the sex - we wanted a surprise! I also looked at the 12 week scan pic and the little one just looked like a boy! On the 20 weeks scan we didn’t ask the sex, but still our little bambino had the look of a boy - I couldn’t say why!
So now we are convinced it is a boy, so if it is a little girl, we are going to be seriously but plesantly surprised! Either is fine with us - just so long as he/she is fit and well.
can’t vote coz I’m not preggers (sadly), but I’m sure I read somewhere that more girls are born in the winter months because we are more hardy and more boys in the summer. But it’s probably an urban myth and we throw it out by being from all over the world with opposite seasons anyway!!
I didn’t find out with any of mine, but guessed correctly with all of them!
Am not preg either - but found out the sex with my eldest DS, definitely a boy! Was nice to prepare, and because he was a surprise baby - I think it helped me bond with him.
With DS number 2- we weren’t allowed to find out- but I was CONVINCED he was a girl, I bought some (not lots) baby girl clothes- and was totally shocked when Midwife told me she was a he!!
I actually didn’t believe her and asked my partner to tell me “The truth” !!
But I really didn’t care- he’s been such a gorgeous baby!
Plus it gives me an excuse ( ) to have another one to see if we can get our girl!
I even kept the baby girl clothes I bought just in case for next time!
