Hi all
I had an ectopic pregnancy & had to have emergency surgery on 6/11/20 this involved tube removal, 2 weeks after surgery I had to take a pregnancy test to make sure it was negative & hormone levels had dropped, it was negative. Myself & my partner have had unprotected sex & I done a pregnancy test on Sunday 13/12/2020 & it was positive. I have also done 2 other pregnancy tests which show positive.
I am scared & worried & freaking out. What should I do? Advice welcome please.

Whispered congratulations on your pregnancy,
Before having a period you have to ovulate and it is possible to become pregnant without having a proper period first, if you are not using contraception. As you have had a positive test I would speak to your GP tomorrow who will be able to advise you further.
Speaking from UK medical practice and standards, usually doctors carry out an internal transvaginal scan at around six weeks with subsequent pregnancies after an ectopic. This is because there is a reasonable chance of seeing an embryo around this six week mark. However given that your surgery was a short time ago, they may wish to complete blood tests as well.
Sadly I do have to remind you to seek urgent medical advice with any pain, bleeding or you feel dizzy and unwell.
