Hi all,
I had an ectopic pregnancy and left tube removal in January 2016. I was devastated and so worried about future. I don’t have children. I’m 35. I didn’t try straight away as I needed healing time.
Yesterday I had a positive test. I was so shocked as I gave up with the ‘trying’ a few months ago and here we are! Early days and I’m still very aware of that but pregnancy after ectopic is possible.
Wanted to share for those who need to hear positive stories about getting pregnant after ectopic.

Dear Vicks8_2,
Whispered congratulations on your pregnancy and thank you for sharing your good news.
As a gentle reminder, please contact your local EPU to inform them of your pregnancy and book in for an early scan at around six weeks. Remind them of your previous ectopic pregnancy. This self refer route is the best route in our view. Hopefully you will have some comfort to know you are under the radar of medical professionals right away. If you are unable to self refer, please contact your GP who will be able to arrange this for you.
Sending much love and positive thoughts,
Karen x
