Evening,
I discovered on 14th Feb that I am pregnant, last period was 10th Jan so reckon I am still early stages. Thursday evening I got home from work and started bleeding and have been bleeding on an off but consistent ever since (4days).
I have been having stomach cramps and vaginal cramps but finding it very hard to distinguish between miscarriage, pregnancy and ectopic pregnancy symptoms well that was off course until today at about 4.35pm I noticed shoulder tip pain in my right shoulder.
I am worried and I have tried to make contact with GP and nurse but no luck so far as no appt slots available. I am over looking into things or is this enough symptoms?
Hi Brooke28,
Please go and get checked as soon as possible. Chances are it is all normal and fine but with an ectopic pregnancy timing is so important. Everything happened for me so quickly but my tube had ruptured which lead to lots of blood loss and the removal of a Fallopian tube. The sooner you get checked out the better it is for your treatment.
Call 111 and be sure to tell them you have shoulder tip pain ali guide cramps. If you can, go straight to A and E.
Please let us know how you get on, I have everything crossed for you and will be thinking of you x x x
Dear Brooke28,
I am sorry to hear of the worrying time you are going through.
As HannahD18, has mentioned, I would seek urgent medical advice with your symptoms. If you have any bleeding with abdominal pain and especially shoulder tip pain, I would advise attending your local A&E as it now out of hours.
Sending much love and warm hugs,
Karen x
