I had two ectopics last year. The first in my left tube which was removed and my second in the remaining stump of that tube… After 7 months of an emotional roller coaster - deciding whether or not I could actually bring myself to try to get pregnant again I finally decided to ‘feel the fear’ and do it anyway. Just found out I am pregnant from the first time of trying! Just seems too good to be true and I am absolutely petrified I will have another ectopic. I am having lots of cramps and pains in my uterus which i cant help but be panicked by! My lovely gynae who I have been seeing since the second ectopic strongly advised me not to rush to get a scan as they are unlikely to see anything so early on ( I am probably only just 4 weeks pregnant) and to wait until 6 weeks when they will be able to see the baby and hopefully a heartbeat in the right place. Just dont know if I can wait that long as I am so anxious. Just looking for reassurance really and experiences from people who have been through similar and it all turned out okay. x
I have everything crossed for you!! I too had 2 ectopics which I’m recovering from.
