Pregnant after ectopic and having symptoms

Hi all,

I had an ectopic in November which resulted in losing my left tube.

I’m currently 5 weeks today, yesterday I had two tiny pink spots when I wiped. Could barely see it. I’ve had mild period cramps but today for a bit more pulling on the right side where my last tube is. I’ve took a paracetamol and it’s gone but I panicked and called the EPAU as I’m very anxious. They now want me in on Monday as I’m high risk for a scan.

Has anyone else had this? I’m terrified, but I know I’m an over thinker

I had exactly this when I was pregnant following my ectopic and I totally panicked when I saw a tiny drop on some toilet paper (sorry tmi!)

Baby was fine and in the right place.

So sorry, it’s stressful waiting for scans. Sending you all the best luck in the world Xxx let us know how you get on xx

Thank you for this. I’ve calmed down a bit now, it’s just so scary when you’ve been through it before. I’ve over thought every symptom since I found out! Will keep you updated xx

Dear Laura,

Whispered congratulations on your pregnancy,

We do hear from women who spot during early pregnancy and go on to have healthy pregnancies as Kimberly mentioned.

It is good that you have a scan booked in for tomorrow,it maybe a little early for them to see anything so do not worry if this is the case.

Although I do not wish to alarm you, I do have to remind you to seek urgent medical advice with any worsening bleeding or pain.

I will be thinking of you tomorrow and sending positive thoughts,

Karen x
