Pregnancy from tubeless side

Hi,

I just wanted to share my experience as I found this website a life line last year.

In July 2015 I had a miscarriage after falling pregnant very quickly. 7 months later I finally found out I was pregnant again but within hours I had brown discharge and pain. A few weeks later I found out my pregnancy was ectopic. I had the MTX injection and then had a month of uncertainty with it working, then not, then working and then definitity not working. I then had to have surgery due in internal bleeding and they removed my left tube.

I found this all very hard to handle and had counselling at my hospital which along with this website really helped me. After waiting the appropriate amount of time we started trying again and 4 months later I had a positive pregnancy test. I was a nervous wreck but at the 6 week scan I found out that my pregnancy was in the right place and amazingly I had ovulated on my tubeless side. I wanted to share this as I had doubted this was possible when I had my surgery and found the loss of a tube very hard to deal with, however I now have a 4 month old baby girl who came from my tubeless side. I hope my story may give others hope and I wanted to say thank you to this forum for the support it gives- it really does help. Sending love to all Xxx
