I tested last night and got a barely there line, so tested again this morning and it’s more visible now. I’m going to confirm with another brand later, as I’m testing a few days before my period is due.
I’m really happy, but obviously in the back of my mind I’m thinking what if it’s like last time? I had an eptopic in my right tube, which ruptured and I lost my tube too. I know my pregnancy tests then took ages to get any real lines and I bled on and off from the day I confirmed it.
I know I have a good tube and assumed that was the ok one, but if I’m honest I’m scared. I don’t want to tell hubby until I’ve at least confirmed it more.
I’m feeling happy, scared and worried.
Any advice or help please? Xx

I don’t have much advice but I can relate! I had my right tube out in 2012 and then fell pregnant quickly and had a healthy son who is now two and a half. I am now pregnant again but I have no pregnancy symptoms (just like my ectopic). I used the digital test and it took ages to come up like when I had my ectopic. I took myself to the doctor and expressed my concerns. I have had a scan but they can’t see anything at this stage. I am having my hormones levels checked and I need to go in for a second blood test this morning. Like you, as far as I know my left tube is ok. I know lots of people that have had children with only one tube without any other complications. If you have had a previous ectopic they do monitor you closely so you could visit the doctor for piece of mind (although sometimes this can be more stressful!). Thank you for replying hun xxx those digital tests are a pain though. I’ve had them take a while even when I’ve had a successful preg so I would try not to worry there. How far on do you think you are? What are normal tests turning out like for you?
I’m quite surprised to be honest, as id written myself off from having any more children (I’ve got 6! 
), and was even questioning if I had been ovulating for the last 2-3 months. Thought I was ‘broken’ if you know what I mean x
Is it best just to go to the Drs so they can scan early enough to confirm everything is ok? I know had bleeding a lot, but they assumed I was mc, until they finally scanned me at nearly 6 weeks and saw the issue. Surely if the problem tube is gone, then it kinda rules it out a lot more??? It’s great that you have had your son, you know your other is ok. Xxx

I have two children, I had one child before my ectopic pregnancy and the other child after my ectopic. I had my right tube out because I thought it would eliminate the risk of me having another ectopic but apparently when you have one ectopic you still have a higher chance of another. I don’t think the risk is much higher than someone who hasn’t had an ectopic but i am not sure. I have only done one digital test. I feel too scared to do another one!
Oh wow 6 children, I take my hat off to you! I definitely wouldn’t write yourself off. Lots of people have children with just one tube. It only took me three months to conceive after my ectopic. It has taken me a little longer this time but have been a bit stressed out!
Did you get strong pregnancy symptoms with all six of your children or were they different each time? I keep burping a lot which I have never had before but not much else except I have gone off of sweet things. I always used to have sore boobs but nothing this time.
I think after an ectopic it is always worth going to the doctors if you are worried and they can monitor you. They usually won’t send you for a scan until you are six weeks. Mine sent me for a scan at just over 4 weeks and it worries me more as they couldnt see anything apart from a shape which she said was the wrong shape for a sac (not very reassuring!). I think I am about 4 weeks and 4 days today. I am off back to the hospital for some more blood tests today to see if my hormone levels have doubled. Having a previous ectopic has made me feel so worried.
I think as you have tested so early the line may be faint anyway and it is good news it is getting clearer. Xxx

Pregnancy symptoms really did vary for me, they were all different, I virtually have no symptoms until 5-6 weeks. With my 7 year old son, my morning sickness stopped and started all the time, I was convinced something was going to go wrong, even had a tiny bit of spotting after BD and went to a&e, they scanned me a few days later and there was my 6wk old bean and my youngest she made me feel really rotten. I really do believe they all affect you differently xxx I’d say unless you have any pain or bleeding then not to worry. Your next scan shouldn’t be too long now xxx
I’m desperate to go and buy another pg test, but it’s bank holiday and my local boots is shut 
I’m going out with hubby soon, so need to think of an excuse for me to nip to the shops and hopefully he will stay in the car lol. Xxx

I know how you feel, it is a worry but great news you have another line! Most doctors will book you in for an early pregnancy scan to check the baby is in the right place. I will keep my fingers crossed for you too xx

I did another test today and got a real strong positive, so I’m feeling hopeful. I’m going to ring Drs on Thursday (AF due tomorrow) and make an appointment to see them. I would just like reassurance that it’s in the right place as soon as they are able to see something xxx

That is great news! Good idea about the doctors. It will put your mind at rest. I got my results this morning and hormones have more than doubled. I have to go for a scan on Friday but will only be about 5 weeks. They said they should see something. Feeling worried about it though. Felt really hungry over weekend and had heartburn and was burping a lot (only symptoms I could hold onto!). Then nothing today!? Let me know how you get on at the doctors xx
That’s great! They might be able to see a sac at that point, but probably not the heartbeat. As long as they can see its in the womb then that’s all that matters xxx see how it goes xxx

Yes I actually got seen today too, as a slot was available x
The dr unfortunately was the usual useless locum, both myself and hubby have had before and when I say he’s rubbish I mean it, lol.
He basically said that it is very unlikely that I would have another eptopic, because my tube was removed. The only exception would be if if previously had a pelvic inflammatory disease, which I haven’t. He said I need to make an appointment with the midwife, but didn’t know if I had to do a urine sample to confirm pregnancy first. He didn’t think it would be necessary to have an early scan! But said basically it would be upto the midwives. Anyway he gave me a prescription for folic acid and said to arrange the midwife appointment at the reception. Explained to the receptionist, who said he’s not done it right, he needs to put in a request for the pg test and then the midwife will contact me. (Told u he’s useless lol!)
So I’m unsure what’s happening now. I hoped they would request a scan at 6 weeks, but I guess I won’t know until I hear from the midwife. I don’t think I could wait till 12wks! I think I would be prepared to pay for a private one myself, but I don’t feel that I should have to considering the previous circumstances.
