Period after tube removal

Hi there,

Had my right tube removed a month ago and I still haven’t had my period, does anyone have a rough time frame on when it might come back?

Desperate for my body to go back to normal.

I’ve been feeling like my period is about to start for about 2 weeks now but nothing, had light cramps and just that feeling we all get when we know we’re about to bleed- but nothing yet!!

Thanks in advance!

Dear Nicole,

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss.

Periods can restart any time between four and ten weeks after treatment. Most people find that their first period arrives sometime around week six or seven after surgery.

I hope this helps,

Sending much love,

Karen x
