Hello,
I am 8 weeks post ectopic surgery.
There has been no sign of my period returning. Is this normal? Or should I speak with my GP
Thanks
Emily

Dear Emily,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss,
Periods can restart any time between four and ten weeks after treatment. Most find that their first period arrives sometime around week six or seven after surgery.
We have more information on periods on our website here which I hope helps

Hi,
I didn’t get my period till roughly 10 weeks after surgery. So there’s still time for it to arrive. Xx
Hey,
Thanks for replying to me.
That’s reassured me a little as everyone/or everywhere I look says their periods came back within 6/7weeks.
I never thought I would say it but I just want it to return.
Xx
