Hi everyone! Thank you all so much for being here, it’s been a real support for me to read through some of your stories!
A month ago, I had a cornual ectopic pregnancy surgery. They removed the right corner of my uterus and the tube through laparoscopy. I’m desperately looking for testimonials around me of women who were able to hold a successful pregnancy after this rare surgery. Any insight would help me navigate this very lonely situation. Anyone here went through cornual ectopic and got pregnant again? How many months did you wait, and did you experience any complications in your pregnancy?
Sending you all my love and support.
It’s tough but many women do end on the other side with healthy pregnancies. You don’t want to rush the healing, 3-6 months minimum. Don’t lose hope! Every story is different. You’ve got this.
Hi azerty111,
I’m so very sorry to hear through all you’ve gone through. My heart goes out to you having suffered this rare ectopic pregnancy. I too had a cornual ectopic pregnancy. It was my second ectopic pregnancy. Following the cornual ectopic pregnancy, I took some time before I was ready to try again.
About 14 months after the cornual, I became pregnancy naturally and it was successful. During my pregnancy, I received very close care from my obsterician and was advised not to travel far distances, as precaution against any possibility of rupture and requiring immediate care. In any pregnancy, it would be important to hear from your health providers on the best course for your specific situation.
I wish you the very best success in your treatment. Please feel free to post on these boards anytime you need.
With good wishes,
Michele
