Is pregnancy possible with only one tube after cornual ep?

Hello. I’m new here. Just this past weekend I had to have surgery to remove my right tube and section of my uterus. They left both ovaries and my left tube. I had a cornual ectopic. I had absolutely none of the risk factors listed for an ectopic pregnancy. I was told that my uterus, my two ovaries and remaining tube looked healthy during surgery and I shouldn’t have any problems conceiving, that this ectopic was a rare thing that just happened. ? I have to wait six months before ttc so that my uterus can fully heal.

I guess my question is, has anyone successfully conceived and carried a baby to term with one tube after a cornual ectopic? I’m terrified of having another ectopic.

Dear Eport

Sorry to hear about your loss. While I read your post it’s very similar what I have been through. My left tube was removed… ‘pregnant after ecoptic pregnancy’ will give you positive stories.

My consultant told me the same I have to wait for 6 months and then I can try again. This will allow the uterus part to become strong, where they did the stitches. I decided I was going to go back to work after 3 weeks but my consultant said you need at least 6- 8 weeks rest and a phased work day where I should only do half days. So please do take time to heal and recover… focus on getting better and then when your body has healed then try for a baby…hopefully we can share our good news next year … x
