Dear Elisida88
Thank you for reaching out to us here at the EPT with your questions. I am very sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss. It is a huge ordeal to go through and very normal to have questions afterwards. I will do my best to try to help.
Am I right in my understanding that your ectopic pregnancy was last year, your period in July was delayed by ten days and you expected this month’s period to start on 1 August but it has not? Please feel free to let me know if I have misinterpreted any aspect.
In any event, as I am not a specialist I cannot with certainty say what the reasoning might be for your delayed period. There can be many reasons why periods cycle length can change including stress, weight loss, an underlying condition or, of course, pregnancy. You can read more here:
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/stopped-o … d-periods/
Also doctors consider cycle lengths of between 23-42 days to be within normal parameters and, if more than 42 days pass since your last menstrual period date (so from the first day of your last period in July), you should speak to your healthcare team.
You can find additional information on our website here:

It sounds as though these worries are impacting your sleep and rest and so as you are concerned it would be worth speaking to your doctors for peace of mind.
I hope that this can help and I send you good wishes.
Munira
