Dear Cliff,
I am so sorry to hear of your daughters ectopic pregnancy and loss of your grandchild. The ripple effects can be felt across the whole family and I’m so sorry you are all having to go through this.
Experiencing an ectopic pregnancy means we are suddenly faced with a life threatening emergency and it’s treatment, concerns about the future and the loss of our babies. You are supporting your daughter through these emotions whilst dealing with your own loss, putting all of this together is immense and your feelings are completely normal.
There is no timeframe for recovery, take each day as it comes. We will be here for you and your family for as long as you need.
Sending much love and gentle hugs,
Karen x
