HCG rising - two weeks after second round of MTX??!!?

Guys please help!

I’m beside myself.

I’m two weeks post my second MTX shot and my levels were slowly declining. But today’s blood test results say they’ve gone up again.

What does this mean? My OB is in surgery and I just got my results via email- so I don’t know what to do or what to think? :sob:

Hey Maddy how are you getting on ? That’s such a shame that your numbers started to rise ! Hope your okay x

Dear maddylouise,

I am so sorry to hear of the worrying time you are going through,

Although I do not wish to alarm you, if your hCG levels continue to rise, your doctors may consider surgery for you.

I’m afraid I do not have access to your medical records and we aren’t allowed to provide specific medical advice. I would suggest seeking urgent medical advice with any worsening bleeding or abdominal pain. I hope by now you have spoken to your doctors and have further answers.

Sending much love,

Karen x
