Hi all,
I had my mtx injection on 6th april and BHCG readings after the shot were:
Day 4: 2055
Day 7: 964
Hcg drops more than 50% and I was discharged from hospital
However,my weekly blood test after that:
Week 2: 700+
Week 3: 800
Week 4: 860ish
BHCG started to rise a little and doc called me and said they might give me 2nd shot of mtx.
Anyone experiencing this before? I am stressed out on this hcg and weekly test and feels like it is a never ending journey

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss and worrying time you are going through.
Sometimes one dose of methotrexate is not enough and it is not uncommon for people to have a second dose.
You will be monitored again and hopefully your hCG levels will continue to reduce following the second dose. I completely understand it feeling like a never ending journey but methotrexate is used as it is not as invasive as surgery.
The diagnosis of and ectopic pregnancy and going through treatment can feel isolating. With us here at the Trust, we have been through similar experiences and can understand how lonely it feels. You have friends here and please do continue to lean on us for as long as you need.

Thank you for your reply.I really appreciate it. I just had my second dose of mtx.Hopefully this will help to lower my hcg to normal… I have been warded since yesterday,and it does feel lonely at times. In my place,I am warded in the same area as postnatal mommies…
So i can hear newborn crying.I am happy for the mommies,but of course deep in my heart…It felt like,what did I do wrong to be in this situation? But then I remembered God is great & he writes each of us stories differently and beautiful in its own way.
I know there are silent readers who are reading and having the same feelings as me,please know that we are God’s strongest and chosen ones to be in this battle together 
I needed to read your reply. Just got my second dose of methotrexate today. I’m so scared it won’t work. I have been praying and praying for God to please finish this battle for me.
