Hey ladies I am 13 days out from surgery and HCG level this morning was 32. I went from 13000 before surgery, 2500 day after, 425 last week and now 32. I would hope I will be zero soon. From those with experience, how long after HCG leaving system did ovulation/AF return?
Hey! depends. Everyone is different. I bled for about 2 weeks lightly after my ruptured ectopic and tube removal. Then had about 2 weeks gap before i got what would have been my first period but it was really heavy but only lasted a few days. Then about 28 days later i had what i would class as my first proper period. Your body will decide. Give yourself a good few months to heal and take it from how you feel. Speedy recovery x x x

So sorry you have gone through this. As shell says, every body is different. Me personally, I had my ruptured ectopic removed on 10th June, I then bled for a few days 19-23 June and then my first period came 7 weeks later on the 29th July. I had a 38 day cycle, O’d on CD25 and am just about to stop AF now. However my situation is slightly different in I came off birth control pills in April so I think my body is trying to balance out still.

Sorry to hear about your ectopic.
I had my ectopic 11th June had my right tube removed and had hardly any bleeding after surgery. My period came back at about 5 weeks and I’m. Just finishing my 3rd period and they have now gone back to the normal cycle of 27 days. The first two periods I had were terribly painful and this 3rd one was not at all.
Just give yourself time to heal physically and emotionally it’s a difficult time but you will soon feel stronger.

It’s such a comfort for me to know there is somewhere I can come to where other ladies understand how I’m feeling.
Same situation as you really, we did give it a go last month but didn’t time things exactly right. I am now set up and ready to go on Fertility Friend and checking my BBT every morning so feeling a bit more optimistic for this month.
My cycles are a bit longer than yours, so i may have to wait a few weeks until O but FX for both of us this month see you on the TTC board for September! Lots and lots of baby dust to you xx

Emma I think I ovulate really early literally about 4 days after my period so will have to wait and see.
I’m so pleased I found this board aswell, other people just don’t understand the emotions we have and how sometimes we can just feel so alone until you realise like from this board were not.

I had my surgery on Feb 22, and then had some spotting on March 20 (so just under three weeks later, as soon as my HCG returned to 0). Then my first real period was exactly four weeks after the spotting on April 17.
Lilyked, thanks for your response. I had hug drawn yesterday and it was 32. I had some spotting today so wondering if I’m down to zero. Hopeful I see AF around 4 weeks as you did (ugh never wanted AF so badly) :?
