I am two days past my period and I am getting very faint positives. This of course makes me very nervous. I had an ectopic pregnancy last May. It was treated successfully with one round of methotrexate. This was our first try since that experience. I have swollen/sore boobs and fatigue, and I also have hip/pelvic stiffness and some pressure on ectopic side (which makes me so nervous). Sometimes it is also on other side. I do also have twinges throughout pelvis here and there. My anxiety is through the roof right now. I can’t concentrate, and I have cried to my husband about my fears.
A little bit about my ectopic. I had a miscarriage early March and then had what I thought was my period six weeks later. Then when it was time to test for ovulation, I got blazing positives five days straight. I found this odd, so I googled and it said I might be pregnant. I tested, and sure enough, I was. I didn’t really feel pregnant, but I was delighted! Two weeks later, I had spotting. After blood tests revealed low rise in hcg, ultrasound showed something inconclusive in right fallopian tube. My doctor was not very kind, but methotrexate did the trick. I have been seeing a therapist every week since to deal with the emotional trauma of this.
I’m so hopeful this could be our rainbow baby, but I’m hesitant to get my hopes up.
Questions:
-should I be worried about the faint positive at 2 days past period?
-the stiffness/pressure in hip/pelvic region concerns me. It’s not pain or cramps, just an awareness of it. Did anyone else experience this in successful pregnancies following an ectopic?
-I haven’t phoned doctor yet bc the faint pregnancy test has me questioning if I’m even pregnant. Planning on testing tomorrow and maybe phoning.

Whispered congratulations on your pregnancy.
The darkness of the lines on the test doesn’t really correlate to much. My first pregnancy was ectopic and I had very dark line, my second pregnancy was successful with a very faint line. It depends upon the sensitivity of the tests
I also felt aches and twinges when I next fell pregnant, however as pain is so subjective, I would advise seeking medical advice about this. Although I do not wish to alarm you, if the pain worsens or you experience bleeding, please seek urgent medical advice.

Thank you for responding. The anxiety is very real. The twinges you experienced, were they on ectopic side more than elsewhere? My aches have subsided quite a bit, but still so early on.
I’d go and get a clear blue tests that tells you how many weeks. I’d did a cheapy one and it was negative but the clear blue said 1-2 weeks.

My story is very similar to yours, I too have experienced a missed miscarriage in May 2021 and then an ectopic in November 2022 we have tried for the first time so he ectopic this month and I have pain in my right groin and what feels like my ovary and twinges in my left side too 
I’m so scared it’s history repeating itself and I’ve another ectopic. I haven’t yet missed a period so it’s too early to test. I’m going to test on Wednesday but scared if I am pregnant the prognosis is not looking good. Did you go on to have a healthy pregnancy? Xx
Hey so I’ve had 4 kids all c-section and they are all grown up I’m 42 now I’ve had 2 miscarriages in last 2 years and all my test even the one from today were all faint lines so if you know they are there and in fact any misconception of it you could just take some pictures with your phone and look now hun if they are in the pics on your phone your really seeing them. I just thought a tubal pregnancy was rare I woke up yesterday and after I went pee I felt a small ball on my lower left side of my pelvic now today I’m starting to feel the same mild cramping on the right , I don’t know what’s happening to me , I’m only 3 maybe 4days late on my period freezing cold inside my body migraine for 2 days straight I’m dizzy I almost feel like I’ve been drugged really bad anxiety but no blood and my vag.discharge is so heavy it’s like im peeing my pants but no oder what does this mean? I’m scared I just need help answers and any questions or concerns I can help anyone out with I’m here all night .I can’t measure hcg I don’t test for it and the clinic used the cheap test this morning and 2 faint lines right away then only one was left so I don’t know ow…
