Dear EICB,
Whispered congratulations on your pregnancy,
Following ectopic pregnancy, you should have an early pregnancy scan at around 6 weeks for every subsequent pregnancy.
Early pregnancy units will now often accept direct referrals from yourself, so we would advise calling them and reminding them of your previous ectopic pregnancy, to book this in. If your unit does not accept referrals from yourself, please contact your midwife or GP who will be able to arrange this for you.
Although I do not wish to alarm you,I sadly do have to remind you to seek urgent medical advice with any bleeding or tummy pain, bladder or bowel changes, shoulder tip pain or you feel dizzy and unwell.
Sending much love and positive thoughts,
Karen x
