Can't move on!

Good day!

I had my ectopic surgery last April 27, 2017. Had my right fallopian tube remove. It’s almost a year but I still can’t get over it. Especially that I really want to have a baby now (I’m 28 y/o). I don’t know now if the problem is about me or my partner. As we have been together for almost 5 years but got only pregnant once (which was ectopic). It is so frustrating that I am getting older but angel is not yet coming. :frowning:

Hi Bhie,

I’m so sorry to hear of the worrying time you are going through. Recovery from an ectopic pregnancy is very individual, and even while the initial trauma passes, there can be emotions and concerns with continue to persist.

I’m not medically trained, so can not speak to your individual situation. However, I thought I might mention that help is available if conceiving naturally has not yet been successful after some time trying. The Trust advises that women under 35 should seek medical advice following 12 months trying to conceive and those over 35 should seek advice after 6 months. As this is causing you concern, I would recommend that you reach out to your GP for additional consultation.

With good wishes,

Michele
