Hello, on Friday my husband and I went in for our normal 6 week u/s and left after an emergency surgery that left us confused, scared and in shock. Now that we are atartinf to process everything, I was wondering what success stories females have after losing partial tube and still being able to get pregnant naturally? How long after your EP surgery did you start trying?
My husband wants to start TTC as soon as my next cycle starts but emotionally It might take me longer. I have never felt so alone and glad I found a site like this
Thanks
Dear Megan
I am very sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss. The emotions you describe are very normal after the ordeal you have been through. You will find many women here who have had similar experiences and can lean on us for as long as you need.
After an ectopic pregnancy, we and many medical professionals advise couples wait for at least two menstrual cycles/three months before trying again. This is to allow your body to heal after the trauma and surgery and for your grief to be worked through. We have more information on trying to conceive including timing here:

I hope this helps and sending you good wishes
