4 weeks pregnant after ectopic, twinges on good side normal?

Hi everyone, I had ectopic 20 months ago and tube removed, been ttc since then, just had bfp yesterday, now 4+2 but having intermittent twinges on good side, is this anything to worry about? Has anyone else experienced this? I’m reluctant to seek medical advice atm as its so early and they wouldn’t be able to see anything on scan anyway yet. Thanks xxxx

Hi Jessie. It’s hard to say if it is anything to worry about at this stage, as you know, but in my case, I had a lot of twinges during the first few weeks of this pregnancy. I had them on the side I lost the tube, the good side, and in the middle, and the baby is in the right place. And my friend had all her twinges on one side and her baby is also in the right place.

Good luck, and I hope it is all where it should be!

Thank you for the reply! It’s just been such a long journey to get to this point, I’m slightly terrified of it all going wrong again xx

Totally understandable! It will be hard to relax until you know it is in the right spot!

Thanks Lilly that’s reassuring for me too. 6 weeks and twinges on both sides.

Hi jessie…i felt like u were writing abt me…currently 4 weeks preggy after an ectopic in Aug and experiencing those twinges and i am freaking out!! I’ll go in for an early scan, keepin my fingers crossed

Il keep my fingers crossed for you! Iv got an early scan 1 week today, I’m just really hoping to get through the Easter weekend without any problems. just trying to set myself little milestones, I find that is helping slightly with all the anxieties. X

Hi when I was about 5 weeks I felt shooting pains (felt a bit like ovulation!) on my good side…

Anyway all was fine and I’m 12+3 today. Good luck X
